Learning not to expect too much in Year 2021

It’s been fresh of 3 days of this new year and quite a lot is going on here.

I’m heading back into full time music teaching at a new international school. It will be my first time coping with virtual lessons for the first month and that’s enough to get my head spinning amidst the new normal that we have to do for school.

This year will also be the first time I’m working and traveling from my family home. It’s a life I didn’t imagine having back when I was still working at a different state or district. This time will be a whole different experience as I will see my parents a lot. I already do see them a lot for the last 2 years so…. it’s gonna be interesting.

As for teaching plans, I’m a little behind as I try to reorganize my workspace at home and getting into this new motion of how things will be in this new year. Somehow rather, I feel things are just at the back of my mind most of the time. Maybe it’s age, maybe it’s wisdom. Time will tell.

Ok, I’m starting to ramble a lot but fingers crossed all will go well in this new month of January.

To my readers, I wish you all the best too.
